A record setup

If you have an IPV4 address and don't want or feel you don't need DDOS protection you can setup a standard A record to bind example.craftserver.xyz to your IP, This will allow forwarding any port via this service. Please note we would highly recommend you consider TCP-Shield with CNAME first.

AAA record setup

If you have an IPV6 address and don't want or feel you don't need DDOS protection you can setup a AAA record and use it to bind example.craftserver.xyz to your IP, This will allow forwarding any port via this service. Please note we would highly recommend you consider TCP-Shield with CNAME first.

CNAME record setup

If you've setup your free TCP-Shield account or have DDOS Protection already then you can setup a CNAME record and use it to bind example.ipv4.tcpshield.com to example.craftserver.xyz this will allow secure access to your Minecraft server via a Content Delivery Network.

Getting Started

If you you're IP looks like " 208.67.220.220" with 4 sets of numbers you use IPV4, if you're IP looks like "2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370" then you use IPV6. If this is the first time you've hosted or managed your server and you aren't sure what to do, you can make a custom request, just give us basic information on what you want, if you want and well get you set up.
